• Face Data: A selfie submitted for manual verification after Aadhaar KYC. No facial recognition or biometric scanning is done.
• User-Generated Content: Profile media (photos, videos, work links) submitted by users.
• Device & Usage Data: Device info, IP address, usage interactions, notification data (via Firebase).

• To verify your identity using Aadhaar and manual selfie review
• To build and display your professional portfolio
• To connect you with verified casting agencies (privately)
• To send updates and notifications
• To ensure authenticity and safety within the app

3. Face Data Collection Policy

3.1 Collection of Face Data

Spotly collects face images solely for the purpose of Aadhaar cross-verification. No additional facial details, biometric measurements, or unique facial identifiers are stored or analyzed.

3.2 Purpose of Face Data Collection

The collected face image is used exclusively to verify if the Aadhaar ID uploaded by the user matches the individual in the image. This is done to enhance security and ensure authenticity within our platform.

3.3 Third-Party Sharing & Storage

Spotly does not share face data with any third-party entities. All collected face images are securely stored within the company’s protected servers, following industry-standard encryption and security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.

3.4 Retention of Face Data

Face data will be retained only as long as the user maintains an active profile on Spotly. Upon account deletion, all associated face data will be permanently removed from our system.

3.5 User Control & Rights

Users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their face data at any time. Upon profile deletion, all associated face data is automatically erased from our system.

3.6 Data Security Measures

Spotly implements strict security measures to safeguard collected face data, including encryption, restricted access, and compliance with applicable data protection laws.

3.7 Changes to this Policy

Spotly reserves the right to update this policy as necessary to reflect changes in regulations, technology, or our services. Users will be notified of any significant modifications through email.

4. User-Generated Content & Privacy

• All content is private and visible only to verified agencies
• No commenting, liking, or public interaction features
• Manual moderation of uploaded content
• Reported content is reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited data may be shared with:

• Amazon AWS (secure hosting)
• Firebase (in-app notifications)
• Government-authorized Aadhaar KYC provider

All third parties are contractually required to protect user data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

• User data is retained for up to 6 months
• If inactive for 6 months, data is deleted
• Users can delete their accounts at any time through the app

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct or update information
• Delete your account and data
• Withdraw consent at any time

8. Security

We apply secure practices including HTTPS encryption, secure storage via AWS, and internal access controls to protect your data.

Spotly is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here and in the app. Continued use constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
